After receiving her BA in Women’s Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Kristin went to medical school at the University of California, Davis. She went on to complete a Family Medicine residency at Contra Costa County Health Services, in Martinez, California. She then practiced in a variety of settings, providing clinical family practice services in an inner-city county clinic, working as a surgical hospitalist at a county hospital, and serving as a station physician at a remote Antarctic research station for three seasons. During this time she also studied, practiced and taught Wilderness and Expedition Medicine. After Antarctica, she moved to Boulder in 2004. She then worked for Boulder Community Hospital providing Holistic Family Practice until April 2010, and she has been in private practice since then. She completed a certification in Classical Homeopathy at the Homeopathy School of Colorado (now Homeopathy School International) in 2007. She enjoys integrating all of her skills when approaching her patients’ health care needs. Dr. Kristin is particularly interested in the connections between lifestyle, emotional health and well-being.
Dr. Kristin enjoys spending time with her partner Joe and their son, walking and hiking with her dog, stand up paddle boarding, biking around town, cooking yummy food and knitting.
